Our History
Come How You Are
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, located in Greenville, South Carolina, traces its roots back to 1899. The church was originally organized by a small group of believers who met in the home of Reverend Butler Dixon in an area known as Brush Harbor. As the congregation grew, members purchased land from Dr. Pack and constructed a church that became known as Packs Chapel Baptist Church in his honor. study, and community outreach. In 1926, the church was rebuilt, and later its name was changed to Antioch Baptist Church. Throughout its history, Antioch has been active in the Reedy River Baptist Association, the National Baptist Convention, and numerous mission and educational ministries. Today, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness, continuing a legacy of worship, discipleship, service, and community impact that has endured for more than a century.

The Mission of our church seeks to be a biblical ministry of excellence designed to encourage life transformations through our three fold purpose: To Evangelize, Edify, and Equip the whole person to serve the community and reach the unchurched, the unsaved, and the world for Jesus Christ. We strive to be compassionate in our love, excellent in our service, holy in our living, and reverence in our worship.
